How it all started...

In response to the nationwide lockdown during the summer of 2020 Branwen upgraded her Mixcloud account and started live streaming weekly DJ sets on Sunday evenings.

The positive response and quickly growing community (soon to became known as the GoldHill Family) encouraged Branwen to continue to stream regularly.

Each week Branwen chooses a different genre or era (sometimes inspired by suggestions from the GoldHill Family). Her diverse sets have so far encompassed everything from 70s disco to 90s pop to heavy metal.

Branwen usually mixes with a digital controller and her laptop, although she does occasionally dust off her Technics turntables and spin a set of pure vinyl selections.

Utilising a combination of OBS software and Zoom, she has pioneered the 'virtual' dancefloor where listeners can join the party and appear in the video feed of the live stream.
